The new academic year of St. Thomas Orthodox Theological Seminary (STOTS), Nagpur began with a Retreat on July 1st and 2nd, led by Rev Fr. Dr Jacob Kurian (Director General of OSSAE and former Principal, Orthodox Theological Seminary, Kottayam). The main theme of retreat was a journey through ‘Thoma Marga’, ‘The Way of St. Thomas’. The retreat was a call to rededicate our life to Jesus Christ imbibing the burning love of St. Thomas to His Guru and Master which had prompted him to say ,let us also go with Him, that we may die with Him”. As a culmination of St. Thomas’ journey with Jesus, he declared the great confession “My Lord and my God”. Respected Jacob Kurian Achen reminded the seminary community also to witness Jesus Christ through our words and deeds by being rooted in this conviction. Through this retreat the students were revitalized and it will help them for their future ministry by making St. Thomas as their patron.
