Inauguration of Basketball Court at STOTS

The new Basketball court for the Seminary was inaugurated and blessed on 20th December 2018 by His Grace Dr Joseph Mar Dionysius, Metropolitan of the Diocese of Calcutta. The Chief Guest for the function was Mr Basil Philip, Indian National Basketball player and team’s former Captain. Basil is a member of   St.Mary’s Orthodox Syrian Church, Maikavu, Malabar Diocese. He briefed about the rules of the game and initiated a game comprising of faculty members and students. Thirumeni honoured the Contractor Mr Joseph Joy Mattom (Joshy), Nagpur who wholeheartedly sponsored for the construction and completed it in a speedy pace.  Special thanks to Mr. P. K. Jacob and other well-wishers who supported financially the construction of this basketball court. Prerana Special School students along with their teachers, STOTS’ faculty members  and  students were present at the occasion. The Principal expressed thanks to all who have contributed to  the materialisation of this long cherished dream project.
