STOTS CHRISTMAS EVE 2018

 

The Christmas Eve of this year at STOTS was celebrated on 19th December 2018 immediately after the Evening Prayer. The arts club secretary Br. Eldo Kuriakose gave the welcome speech. The meeting was presided over by the Seminary Principal Fr. Dr. Bijesh Philip, who stressed upon Jesus who came to announce the inauguration of a dawn without sunset enlightening and empowering us to overcome the darkness of  all the negativeness of life and fanatic and dehumanizing trends of the world, in his presidential address. A carol song was sung by the Seminary choir. The chief guest of the day was Rev. Kasta Dip, Director of Indian Peace Centre, Nagpur. In his Christmas & New Year Message, he stressed on the truth that Christ is born as a savior for all, not for a handful. The celebration was made colorful by dance of Prerana Special School Children. There were also skits, songs, mimes etc. performed by the seminary students and faculties. Seminary students also performed the Margam Kali Pattu, a classical traditional dance of Nazrani Christians. The program ended with exchange of Christmas gifts among the Christmas friends of the whole seminary family.
