PRERANA SPECIAL SCHOOL

The ‘Prerana Multipurpose School’ was established in 2001, for the underprivileged ‘children with special needs’, under the auspices of St. Thomas Orthodox Seminary. The primary objective of this mission project is to empower and motivate them through special education, economic rehabilitation approaches and advanced technologies.

The motto of Prerana School, ‘help to help oneself’ is in accordance with the meaning of the word ‘Prerana – Motivation’. It provides motivation to these children with special needs, to stand independently, to create self-esteem and to empower themselves to become efficient in their social life.
